Oakwood Primary school

Honoured that Oakwood PS was asked to place a flag on the grave of CPRL H H Williams, our adopted veteran. Finn and Sienna represented our school brilliantly today at the Remembrance Day service, well done! ‘We will remember them’.

We had a visit from some of our Kindy children for next year today. They came from Jellybeans daycare, who we have a great partnership with. We are delighted to host these visits to help the children transition to our school.  

Thank you everyone for supporting our P&C free dress day, the kids are having a lovely last day of Term 3. We would like to wish you all safe and happy school holidays and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 9 October for a fab Term 4!

Our first Book Fair was fantastic! We sold over 220 books and earned $850 worth of books for our library! Thank you to all the families who purchased and donated books, these generous donations will be acknowledged with books plaques on the inside covers. Thank you to everyone who joined us for assembly on Friday, it was a lovely occasion! Well done to the merit certificate winners and to Clifford for coming along to congratulate them all too!

Piper will be staying with Tori and her family these holidays. Thank you to all the families who nominated to look after her. The Term 4 weekend roster will be on the office door tomorrow!
